Very nice people and great service but even in NYC I have never paid over $11 for cheese enchiladas. This place charges $14 which is crazy for the area. No wonder they had no customers. They need to lower their prices. Food was tasty (but far from the best).

Small Mexican restaurant outside of West Point. Ordered the chicken tacos and "The Black Spider." Despite the ominous sounding name it tasted good and the chicken tacos turned out perfect!Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. I'll be visiting a few times before I head home!

An authentic Mexican restaurant near West Point that made a great day greater. Excellent food that pleased our whole party of eight. I recommend the guacamole tostadas. Everything looked, smelled and tasted wonderful.

Place took an hour and a half after the lady said it should be done in 25 to 30mins. Forgot one of my orders. On top of that she over charged my card because she heard 6 orders instead of 3.

All the locals unanimously directed us to MARIA BONITA when asked where to find the best Mexican dishes. We found the freshest and most flavorful meals in the northeast U.S. Try the avocado filled seafood salad - EXCELENTE!

Not bad, standard mexican fare. They do have indoor dining with limited capacity due to covid. Parking is on the street.

Stopped here while visiting West Point from the Bronx. Charming atmosphere during the lunch hour; we enjoyed a freshly made cup of cafe de olla and queso dip to start. Our main courses were enhiladas suizas and steak fajitas. Both were filled with flavor and very enjoyable. Portions were generous but not excessive. I would happily visit again.

This was a great meal after a day of hiking the people where very nice.

Nachos and tacos were tasty. The restaurant was very cold. Bring your jacket.

I live in Highland Falls and this is the best Mexican for miles around. Hands down our favorite place to go to. They have quality delicious Mexican food and an awesome little place to sit down too.

Hi. We ate here during parents weekend at West Point. The food was excellent and the 3 ladies serving us were also excellent. I wish I could have taken the restaurant back to Florida with me! I felt like giving the staff a hug at the end as they felt like family! One of the best mexican restaurants I have been to!

Just tremendous. Grew up with homemade Mexican food from the Southwest all my life. Did not at all believe I'd have authentic Mexican in Highland Falls. The staff and cooks do a wonderful job!

Hands down - this is the best Mexican restaurant, with the best Margaritas on the entire East Coast!!! After having lived before in San Antonio, TX, nothing here on the East Coast has come even close those culinary experiences I had there, until I found this jewel! Awesome food!! Worth every penny!!!

Love Maria Bonita's! It's a little more expensive than the Hacienda down the road..BUT M.B's food is 1000000000000x better than the Hac ever since new people took it over. You go to the Hac to drink, and Maria's for good food and nice chill atmosphere.

OMG!!! The food was SO good!! I live in Tucson, Arizona where we have some of the best, most traditional, most home-cooked- tasting Mexican food in the country, and Maria Bonita's was equally as good! The guacamole is so creamy, and chunky, you will swear there is butter in it, and nothing artificial.- oh, so good!! Their chips are homemade and came warm. We ate dinner there on a Tuesday, and it was so good, we came BACK again for dinner on Wednesday!! They are so nice, and remembered a special dietary request I had made the next time I ate there, without me even telling them! Felt like home! This is NOT tex-mex or some lame attempt, this is the real deal and oh-so-delicious!! You have to taste it to believe it!! Love!

Great local Mexican diner right around from westpoint military academy. The food was delicious and affordable. Very accommodating and open to all. Parking metres are right outside for only a quarter per hour and there's free wifi inside. Would highly recommend!

Great family run restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and freshly made. The host accommodated a party of 12 without any reservations. House Margarita was tasty as well.

The food is delicious every time we have been there. The shrimp fajitas are the best. The owners are very nice and friendly.The only negative is they charge for each can of soda. I would rather a glass with free refills. If you atr in the area, I would definitely recommend it for great Mexican food.

Best restaurant in the area, by far, and run by such a nice family. This is the place we go to for all our celebratory dinners. Food is made from fresh, high-quality ingredients--it's basically homemade. So even though it's rich, it feels good to eat! The ceviche is our favorite. Support family businesses!
